Chris
Hurst a good friend I met through the world of Druidry .
More pictures of Chris's work can
be found on news page
Below is a litle bit about Chris
and her work.
I make drums that are suitable for
all weather conditions (I live in a beautiful green part of Wales
that has just about the highest rainfall in the UK and almost the
highest in Europe). They wear well, too - I've spent a lot of time
getting varnishes and finishes just right so they can be dropped
in mud, left in hot cars in bright sunshine and bashed on the sides
of burial chambers (inadvertantly). I also make skin ones from honourably
killed parkland stag and deerskin rawhide - and it's all done in
sacred space with prayer, ritual, and ceremony. The backs of the
drums are bound in soft leather and blessings of the Land, Ancestore,
Gods and Elements are knotted into them with beads.
I WILL have a website, promise. Soon.
But for now, you can contact me any time on thujawoman@hotmail.co.uk.

The
Anderida Gorsedd open rituals began on the Spring Equinox 2000,
the dream of Druids Damh the Bard and Cerri Lee to revive the regular
celebrations of the old Pagan festivals in the sacred landscape
of Sussex.
As a Grove we quite often
visit and share the Magik of thease heartfelt Rituals , warmly hosted
by Damh and Cerri Lee.
