Yule News and Thoughts- A few words from Shane

With December around the corner I felt it was a good time to share our latest and seasonal news... I think at the core of it... We all just want to live in peace, something we think about with much more clarity at this time.. to live with peace .. With sovereignty.. with heart and meaning... watching our Children grow in peace and safety... The direction of this world has been troubling....Deeply knowing what you know is a double edged sword. Yet I feel so much change is afoot.. as we move from harm to healing..

The last year have been heartbreaking at times.. mixed stories of hope and inspiration to such pain... Through Consulting I am seeing the impact of this situation.. how its ripping through people lives...Physically, Emotionally and even Spiritually...

Here at the beginning of December with All Hallowed Eve behind us and the trees beginning to shed their leaves in earnest, we have arrived at the edge of winter. Across most of the UK in recent weeks, we've experienced the first frosts and the early mornings have been shrouded in fog. There's a sense of calm and quiet descending; a welcome reminder to slow down and rest amid the relentless waves of breaking news. In a fortnight's time we will have reached mid December , although the festive season will undoubtedly feel very different this year, the underlying hope of the winter solstice still remains: on the shortest day, from their on in sparking the slow return of the light. we hope you'll take some comfort in the thought that the darkness - of the season, or of the pandemic - won't last forever.

I come across this a little while ago .. Lovely short video about a Cabin in the Woods.. I was grateful to discover it... It reminds me of my own family's story with our Families land... It shares a Beautiful Cabin in the Woods and a lovely short story ... One day I see us living for some of the time that way too.. In a yurt or cabin....Solar and Wind.. Plugged into the Internet. of course able to Consult.. In a same yet different way.. Enjoy this heart-warming video

And for now I will continue to anchor myself and those that I care about.. And nurture Community.. The Circle of Giving is a Circle.. The skills and wisdom I foster was shaped and gifted to me from my Elders... and Good Friends... For me its about using that with integrity, care and consideration... I will continue to teach the little guy with love all that is in my heart.. for he and his generation are the future..

We All must be a part of a culture of Hope

Alternate Realities

Since I last spoke to you all I had the honour to be interviewed my the wonderful host of Alternate Realities It was a beautiful conversation traversing the last 26/7 years of my career as a Holistic Medium … Jay is a wonderful host, she has a uncanny way of leading the conversion in such a raw, real , and profound way.. She also had the grace to share her experience.. It was a very special conversation...

Recently I got asked how would I describe myself .. I smiled as I replied.. "I guess that is not my place to do that".. The Lady looked at me with a deep sense of kindness.. "Your a Life Doctor Shane" That title has stuck.. and nicely.. watch out for Late December for our New FB page that will beautifully weave together the strands of what I do and offer to the lovely Community around me!! From Consulting, My Hedgerow Foraging, Food Growing and Woodland Skills, alongside a huge dose of Magic When needed and required..

What is the greatest thing you can ever give another? Time is the greatest thing you can give!

As we approach Yule we often think about giving gifts, yet time is one of the greatest gifts we can ever give!! this year, give the most inexpensive and yet most precious gift there is: YOU. You may not think much of yourself as a gift and may not even feel you have much to give. Yet you are and so is your time, and why because the time you give, you can never get back, once spent, gone!

When we recall Christmas past, we usually find that the simplest things – not the great occasions – give off the greatest glow of happiness.” —Bob Hope
