The Teaghlach Collective and Mystical Moot

Legacy Fire and wider vision to be shared shortly I’ll share more as it forms its own edges, its own breath. For now, I’m just holding deep gratitude that it arrived at all.
Beloved friends, I reach out to you with heart open, hands extended, and a quiet fire burning within.
Teaghlach In Irish, it means hearth, story, home, family, friendship, kin—the sacred fire at the centre of life.
✨ You Are Warmly Invited to Our Mystical Moot ✨
Our Mystical Moot is a gathering of hearts and kindred spirits — a space to share, listen, and remember the magic that lives in everyday life.
We meet at The Plough Pub, Ifield Green, Crawley — Long before dedicated temples, people met in ale houses, long halls, and around the hearth fire, The Plough a place steeped in history, the home of the May Fair, and a hearth for connection and story. Each second Monday of the month, from 7pm – 9pm, we gather to speak, listen, and be present together.
Commencing Monday 9th February 2026
Whether you come to share a story, a song, a question, or simply to sit quietly by the fire with others who honour the old ways, this is a space for belonging, reflection, and the simple magic of being together.
Bring your curiosity, your heart, and your own piece of wonder — all are welcome here.
As we say, long before dedicated temples, people met in ale houses, long halls, and around the hearth fire. These were places of warmth and story, where the fire burned low, the kettle sang, and voices rose in conversation, song, and counsel. A moot was never separate from daily life; it lived within it.
Join us. Remember. Belong.
The Teaghlach Collective and Mystical Moot a vision forged from friendship, shaped by the memory of two good and deeply missed friends. Though departed, they are still felt — sensed at the edges, present in the pauses. Lately, their guidance has been unmistakable: a steadying hand, a calm mind.
The Plough Inn is a traditional pub located on the outskirts of Crawley and ten minutes walk from Ifield Station. The 15th century St.Margarets's Church is nearby and behind the pub is the home of The Ifield Barn Theatre.
Ifield is a very old settlement, pre-dating Crawley and mentioned in the Doomsday book. Local memorabilia adorns the walls and makes interesting reading for visitors to the pub.
